Cowslip Cottage was designed and built to be as wheelchair friendly as possible, reflecting the needs of the owner-occupants. So the bottom steps of all external doors are at ground level which allows independent access in and out. Similarly, all interior doors are extra wide, light switches are lower than normal and electricity sockets higher than normal. And underfloor heating, controlled remotely, means that there are no radiators to obstruct movement in the Cottage.
